One of Kate’s Girl Scout activities this year was horseback riding. She was a little trepidatious, and wouldn’t let go of the saddle horn, but seemed to have a lot of fun!

Picnic time
One of the things that Eddy loves more than anything, which I have never been super fond of, is eating outside. And turns out he loves doing it even more in his own house. The kids are willing to be bribed with steck frites, ice cream cones and s’mores so I can’t even count on them to tow the line when I’m gone.
