Kate and I are spending the morning at U Village, getting her haircut, having hot chocolate and so on. We stopped in the shoe store (just to look, of course) and Kate wanted to try on shoes. “What kind of shoes are you looking for” I asked. “Ones that fit me,” she replied.
Kate: are the Winter Olympics inside or outside?
Me: some sports are inside, some are outside. Like skiing is outside, and ice skating is inside.
Kate: and bobsledding is outside.
Me: yes.
Kate: I guess building snowmen isn’t part of it.
Me: no, because it’s not a sport.
Kate: it is if they do it fast enough.
