See if you can guess what they were for Halloween! And I’m a horrible mother because I don’t have a SINGLE picture of Kate in her handmade bluebird costume on her FIRST Halloween. Sigh. At least she’ll have something to talk about in therapy.

First Day of School
Jonah and Owen had their first (half) day of school on Tuesday, followed by a day off on Wednesday and then a whole two days Thursday and Friday. It went well; they seem to like their teachers and were happy to see their friends again, but I think they were quite tired. They were quite glad to see the weekend arrive!
Here are some pictures of them on their first day. And let me tell you, getting a good picture of one of them, let alone two or three IN THE SAME SHOT is like putting a cat into a wet paper bag without the bag tearing.
In other words, impossible.
