Given that I am travelling this week, and that the Fourth of July was on a Thursday, I decided to take Friday for some personal time. We renewed the kids’ US passports (at the tune of nearly $500–we won’t be able to afford to actually travel anywhere), ran some errands (see this post) and had lunch at one of our favorite places to eat outside, Ivars.
