Nightly treat

Every night I give Penelope and Max (and any other cats who care to show up, although they never do) a few cookies before bed. They (and I) are so well trained that beginning at about 8 o’clock anytime I get close to the bedroom they both hop up on the bed and look at me expectantly. This is one of my favorite pictures of Penelope.
