I’m in New York City for a few days, thanks to work (like most of my trips to exciting destinations). The trip here was long and tedious and I seem to have caught a cold from all the people hacking and snorting on the airplane but things are fine. Because New York.
Last night I went out to dinner with a colleague that I know pretty well and another that I just met yesterday. We went to a Greek restaurant around the corner from the hotel and then, after stuffing ourselves senseless, decided to stretch our legs. Esther proposed walking to Times Square as it’s not far and along the way we stopped at Grand Central Terminal and Radio City Music Hall. Definitely fun to see all these places (and get a ton of points checking in on Foursquare).
Today is a light day of work (only 8 hours!) and tomorrow the conference starts at 8am which means getting there at dogs o clock PST. But for now, New York!
